In July, 2021, Katherine Sherwood gave a lecture at the San Francisco Art Institute, as part of their Graduate Lecture Series. The video is now available online:
Sherwood discussed how her life and art were significantly altered by a cerebral hemorrhage in 1997, offering examples of her own work pre and post-stroke, as well as contemporary examples of Disability Art. She concluded the lecture with an overview of her current series of Brain Flowers and Venuses of the Yelling Clinic.
